Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; four years of operations experience in refuse collection and/or disposal activities or related field, including supervisory experience; may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Direct all trash collection operations across unincorporated Miami-Dade County and contracted municipalities.
• Oversee routing, workforce management, fleet utilization, and budget administration.
• Ensure overall performance, efficiency, and reliability of trash collection services, including bulky waste pickup, illegal dumping response, recycling support activities, and operations at Trash and Recycling Centers (TRCs).
