Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an accomplished Shoulder and Elbow Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the Shoulder and Elbow Division. Consideration will be made for applicants qualified to serve as Division Chief of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

This physician leader will be responsible for the clinical, academic, and operational leadership of the Shoulder and Elbow Division within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of Orthopaedic Surgery residency.
  • Completion of fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery including arthroplasty, arthroscopy, instability, and fracture.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Michigan.
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence in shoulder and elbow surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Shoulder and Elbow Division across the health system.
  • Maintain an active clinical practice focused on advanced shoulder and elbow surgery, including complex reconstruction, arthroplasty, and sports-related injuries.
  • Develop and standardize evidence-based clinical pathways to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners including sports medicine, trauma, rehabilitation, radiology, and pain management.
