Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an orthopedic trauma surgeon to lead both operative and non-operative management of acute musculoskeletal injuries, including fracture care and complex trauma reconstruction. You will collaborate with Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Rehabilitation, and subspecialists to deliver patient-centered care and drive quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Michigan.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Lead operative and non-operative management of acute musculoskeletal injuries, fracture care and complex trauma reconstruction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across emergency medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, critical care, rehabilitation and subspecialists.
• Help establish and grow a comprehensive orthopedic trauma program serving diverse communities in Michigan.
