Responsibilities

• Develop an effective clinical service that consistently meets or exceeds patient expectations and contemporary standards for academic departments of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Align division operations with the department’s strategic plan and develop division-specific initiatives
• Collaborate with Vice Chair of Operations to optimize productivity and resource utilization
• Ensure hospital, ambulatory, and on-call coverage to standards
• Promote innovation while improving clinical quality and patient outcomes
• Monitor quality benchmarks and safety metrics for the division
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, and retention efforts
• Support education programs for residents, fellows, and medical students
• Foster research productivity and publication opportunities for division members
• Participate in department fundraising and donor development activities
