Job summary

Associated Staffing Inc. in Kearney, NE is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance team and oversee day-to-day accounting operations. The role offers a strong culture and competitive pay.

You will manage two accountants, coordinate monthly and year-end closes, ensure GAAP compliance, and work closely with operations and management to drive efficiencies and accurate reporting. This position also includes audits and various accounting duties under the Division Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• GAAP knowledge required.
• Strong communication and Excel skills.

• Manage 2 accountants and oversee the accounting team.

Qualified candidates must be able to manage financial reporting, general ledgers, account reconciliations, monthly and year-end closing processes AND work closely with operations and management to effectively communicate accounting and finance-related issues, including efficiencies, costs related to labor, and day-to-day business operations. Other responsibilities include resolving accounting issues, managing 2 accountants, managing audits, monthly reporting, and assisting the Division Controller with other accounting-related duties. GAAP knowledge required.

Full-time (Permanent, Direct-Hire) Accounting Manager Located in Kearney, NE Hours typically Monday - Friday with some flexibility - additional hours required during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes $110k - $130k DOE with discretionary bonus potential
