Accounting Manager - Clear Path to Controller - Numerous Upcoming Projects!

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical accounting professional who enjoys a blend of accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. This large and highly profitable manufacturer sets the industry standard while focusing on quality, innovation, process improvement, and automation to maximize profitability while minimizing costs and risk.

In this position, you will lead a small team of high-caliber individuals, taking ownership of monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance analysis. Partner with an impressive Controller and CFO while leading special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and feasibility/ROI analysis on capital expenditures, automation initiatives, and plant expansions.

You will enjoy:

• Stability within one of Nebraska’s most financially secure and established manufacturing corporations, consistently working 40-45 hours each week
• Variety and challenge — no two days, months, or quarters will look the same, as you’ll be involved in new initiatives that develop your skill set and keep your responsibilities fresh
• Leading all aspects of accounting, including monthly close, accruals/reconciliations, and journal entries reflecting daily production
• Partnering with a Controller eager to train and prepare you for impactful responsibilities
