Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of construction industry experience.
• Two years in the construction industry, with emphasis in Doors/Frames/Hardware/Specialties.
• Great communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and productivity.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, EPWS).
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of ownership and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate scopes of work and detailed cost estimates.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements to support bids.
• Develop cost-effective and labor-efficient schedules for project execution.
• Maintain and update cost databases for accuracy and future reference.
• Present estimates by compiling and summarizing data for internal and client review.
• Maintain bid quality by resolving discrepancies before handing off to Sales.
• Pursue contract buy-down after award from suppliers and subcontractors.
