You will analyze blueprints, specs, and proposals to prepare scopes of work and detailed estimates, supporting fast, competitive bids and strong project planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales and field teams, maintaining cost databases, and presenting results clearly for internal and client review.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of construction industry experience.
• Two years in the construction industry, with emphasis in the specific fields of Doors, Frames, Hardware, and Specialties.
• Great communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly productive.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, EPWS).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Preparation & Analysis: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate scopes of work and detailed cost estimates.
• Project & Bid Management: Maintain take-off tasks and prepare estimates for bid through ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Miscellaneous: Support company values in safety, customer focus, teamwork, and integrity; perform other duties as assigned.
