Job summary

Adams Group in North Port, FL is seeking an experienced Division 10 Project Manager to lead specialty construction projects throughout planning, coordination, and execution. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications while maintaining safety and compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Specialties Division, you will collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; related fields preferred.
3+ years of project management in commercial construction.
Experience in a family-owned business preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Division 10 projects from contract award through close-out.
Review drawings and specifications to confirm scope and product requirements.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material delivery timelines.
Coordinate with vendors, installers, and internal procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate material acquisition.
Communicate regularly with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure expectations are met.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and verify installation quality.
Prepare and submit submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Track and report project status, costs, and risks to leadership.
Foster strong client relationships and promote the family business commitment to quality and reliability.
