Job summary

UN Women invites applications for an Advisor to advance diversity and inclusion within the organization. Under the HR Director, you will develop and monitor D&I programmes, build partnerships, and disseminate knowledge on diversity and inclusion to support organizational goals.

You will develop diversity analytics, track metrics, and coordinate with stakeholders to address racism and discrimination while contributing to training and policy advice across UN Women.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social sciences or related field; or equivalent professional experience combined with relevant education.
• Extensive background in gender equality, public policy or human rights with diversity focus.
• Experience advising on policy and organizational development related to inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor diversity and inclusion programmes in UN Women with key stakeholders.
• Support Executive Board recommendations on organizational culture and anti-racism.
• Create diversity analytics, benchmarks, and reporting to highlight trends and program impact.
• Lead an action plan to address racism and discrimination in coordination with stakeholders.
• Advise and support internal events on racial discrimination and related topics.
• Collaborate on training programs and seminars on diversity and inclusion for UN Women staff.
• Build partnerships with UN agencies and external partners to share best practices.
• Seek and disseminate knowledge on D&I across the organization.
