The City of Odessa Parks & Recreation department seeks an Aquatics Technician to help keep our pools safe, clean, and welcoming for the community. You’ll maintain and repair pumps, filters, and water systems, and test water chemistry to meet health standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of aquatic maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pools, pumps, filters, and water systems.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.
• Complete daily logs, reports, and supply requests.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to hazards or concerns.
