Schedule:Tuesday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM + Meet Attendance
Reports To:Pool Supervisor

Position Summary:

Colonial Country Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dive Coachfor the 2025 summer season. This individual will lead our youth diving program through structured practices and meet participation. The Dive Coach will support athletes of various skill levels in a safe, encouraging, and development-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead dive practicesTuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, throughJuly 18, 2025.

  • Coach and develop divers across all experience levels—from beginner to competitive.

  • Attend and provide coaching support at all applicable dive meets.

  • Emphasize safety, discipline, proper technique, and sportsmanship.

  • Monitor the pool area to ensure a safe and organized practice environment.

  • Communicate with divers, parents, and the Aquatics Director regarding scheduling, progress, and expectations.

  • Maintain practice attendance and progress logs.

  • Collaborate with swim coaches and staff for an integrated team experience.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a dive coach or competitive diver required.

  • Knowledge of proper diving techniques, meet rules, and safety procedures.

  • Must hold or obtain valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate youth athletes.

  • Professional, reliable, and organized.
