Job summary

Trenton Public Schools seeks certified Special Education Teachers for districtwide opportunities at multiple locations. We particularly need candidates for secondary Mathematics, Biological Science, Chemistry, Earth/Physical Science, and English/ELA.

Position is Full-Time (10-Month) with a salary range of $71,525–$117,475 annually and benefits including medical, prescription, dental, and NJ State Pension enrollment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for the appropriate certification.
• New Jersey Special Education certification with appropriate secondary content-area endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements instructional plans to meet diverse student needs.
• Creates a classroom environment that supports learning and development.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives.
• Demonstrates commitment to district education goals and professional conduct.
• Establishes positive relationships with colleagues, students and families.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
