Job summary

The Trenton Board of Education is seeking an Elementary, Middle & High School Teacher for Trenton High School - Chambers. This full-time (10-month) position offers a salary range of $71,525-$117,475 annually and requires a valid New Jersey teaching certificate or eligibility for certification.

Reports to the Building Principal and participates in planning, instruction, assessment, and collaboration with families to support diverse learners according to district goals and state standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
• Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct.
• Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
• Performs other duties and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
