Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field.
• Current NM PED School Psychologist License.
• Ability to travel between school sites within the district.
• Previous experience conducting educational and behavioral evaluations preferred.
• Strong consultative and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students (avg caseload of 30-40 evaluations).
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized intervention strategies.
• Support positive academic and behavioral outcomes through data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
• Deliver crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students’ well-being.
• Collaborate with fellow School Psychologists and support staff to ensure continuity of services district-wide.
