Job summary

La Center School District is seeking an Educational Staff Associate/Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate students with communication disorders and plan interventions that support academic progress district-wide in La Center, WA.

The role requires a Master’s degree and a Washington State ESB certificate, with a 0.6 FTE schedule under the LCEA agreement. Fingerprinting and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of speech, language, communication disorders and child development.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret data.
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and services.
• Strong collaboration and communication with families, teachers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine eligibility for speech services.
• Document deficits and impact on education.
• Provide and evaluate intervention plans for diagnosed disorders.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support communication in classroom settings.
• Develop and manage service delivery schedules including co-treat where needed.
• Maintain data on student progress toward IEP goals.
