Job summary

Columbia School District in Burbank, Washington is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication disorders within the district’s Special Services team. Qualifications

  • Must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid Washington State ESA Certification as a School SLP.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and compliance activities.
  • Adhere to IDEA and Section 504 regulations.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support language development and classroom success.
