Job summary

Chehalis School District seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 school year to develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy for students with disabilities. Three 1.0 FTE positions and one 0.5 FTE position are available with anticipated start on 09/01/2026.

Qualifications

• Requires valid WA State Educational Staff Associate Certificate with SLP/Audiologist endorsement.
• CCC-SLP certification or ability to attain.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background clearance must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements speech and language therapy programs for students with disabilities.
• Serves as a resource to staff on communication and speech improvement.
• Conducts thorough assessments of speech, voice, language impairments and refer when appropriate.
• Maintains thorough case records and collaborates with teachers to integrate therapy into daily activities.
• Provides information and counseling to families and coordinates with community agencies as needed.
