Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Title 1 Schools require Highly Qualified Status with an Associate's Degree or two years of college.
• Bachelor's degree or NH Paraeducator II certification from the NH Dept of Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and reinforcing the instructional curriculum under teacher direction.
• Help prepare and administer testing and provide input to teachers, guidance counselors, and administration on student performance.
• Assist preschool students by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Support day-to-day program operations using provided materials and technology.
• Assist with IEP goals, social-emotional and behavioral development, and independence; may assist with lifting and personal hygiene needs.
