Job summary

Lyon County School District is hiring for a Maintenance IV to oversee and perform advanced electrical and HVAC maintenance across district facilities. The role requires experience with commercial/industrial systems and the ability to coordinate tasks with custodial staff.

You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment, logs, safety, and on-call maintenance, with pay grades aligned to the district’s salary schedule. This position is on-site and full-time.

Qualifications

• Commercial/Industrial electrical and HVAC experience is required.
• High school graduation or equivalent is required.
• Experience in maintaining school facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct custodial crew and coordinate routine maintenance tasks.
• Inspect mechanical equipment and maintain safe operating conditions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and electrical systems.
• Maintain logs of work performed and inventory.
• Respond to maintenance issues during non-school hours (on-call).
