Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking a detail-oriented data specialist to manage the district webstore and support student data information needs across SIS platforms. You will ensure accurate setup, maintenance, and compliant reporting for staff and campuses.

The role requires at least two years in technology within an education setting, with strong Excel reporting and data reconciliation skills. PEIMS knowledge is a plus, and the position is based on-site in Pearland, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, data analysis, mathematics, or a related field preferred.
• Two (2) years minimum in technology related experience in an education environment.
• Experience managing district-wide webstore platforms, including product setup, pricing, payments, and issue resolution across SIS and webstore systems.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation) and reporting tools, plus data reconciliation.
• Experience importing/exporting data between systems.
• Ability to generate custom reports for campuses, departments, and compliance needs with accuracy and speed.
• Ability to create clear, detailed technical documentation, user guides, and SOPs for student information systems and webstore processes.
• Knowledge of PEIMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage the district webstore, ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and functionality.
• Provide comprehensive support to district staff by fulfilling student data information needs, including data access, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of data and processes across SIS and webstore platforms.
