Job summary

Greenway Waste & Recycling is seeking a District Service Manager for full-time work in Indiana. You will manage valet service operations at assigned properties, with a split shift and some work from home.

You’ll build client relationships, maintain open communication, and lead field teams while keeping vehicles fueled and maintained. Requirements include reliable transportation if not provided a vehicle, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency in MS Word/Outlook/Excel.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation if not provided a vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel.
• Customer service and prior people management experience.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage valet service operations at assigned locations.
• This position may require a split shift schedule which includes hours in the morning/early afternoon and evening depending on needs and/or performance of your team. Time will be split between your working from home and in the field / community properties
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees.
• Maintain open communication with management and employees.
• Fuel and maintain vehicles.
• Schedule valet porters and fill-in as necessary.
• Assemble, deliver, label and maintain trash receptacles.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Deliver violations, conduct trainings and progressive discipline.
• Collect trash bags and recycling door-to-door within a local apartment community and transfer to the trash compactor onsite.
• Lead effective teams and hold others accountable.
