Greenway Waste & Recycling in Indiana is seeking a District Service Manager to oversee valet service operations across assigned properties. The role offers independence and growth within a growing leader in the waste industry.

You will manage schedules, build client relationships, and ensure smooth field operations while staying autonomous and active in an outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Customer service and prior people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage valet service operations at assigned locations.
• Lead scheduling and allocate shifts; split time between home and field.
• Build relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees.
• Maintain open communication with management and staff.
• Fuel and maintain vehicles.
• Lead teams and ensure accountability.
• Collect trash bags and recycling door-to-door within local apartment communities.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Deliver violations, trainings and progressive discipline.

What You’ll Do As A District Service Manager:

• Manage valet service operations at assigned locations
• This position may require a split shift schedule which includes hours in the morning/early afternoon and evening depending on needs and/or performance of your team. Time will be split between your working from home and in the field / community properties
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees
• Maintain open communication with management and employees
• Fuel and maintain vehicles
• Schedule valet porters and fill-in as necessary
• Assemble, deliver, label and maintain trash receptacles
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Deliver violations, conduct trainings and progressive discipline
• Collect trash bags and recycling door-to-door within a local apartment community and transfer to the trash compactor onsite
• Lead effective teams and hold others accountable

Requirements

What We Require Of A District Service Manager:

• Reliable transportation (with allowance) if not provided a vehicle
• A smart phone
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to submit a background check

• Have and maintain a clean driving record
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule and/or be on call during irregular business hours
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
• Customer service, and prior people management experience
