Job summary

Greenway Waste & Recycling, LLC in Antioch, TN is seeking a District Service Manager to lead valet service operations at properties, schedule teams, and maintain strong customer relations. The role involves some split shifts with time spent both remotely and in the field, delivering frontline support and coordinating with management.

You will supervise crews, ensure accurate records, and uphold safety while driving company-provided vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must possess a smartphone and be able to use it for work communications.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Must pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel is expected.
• Strong customer service skills and prior people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage valet service operations at assigned properties and locations.
• Coordinate scheduling, including split shifts with home and field work.
• Build positive relationships with customers and employees of Greenway.
• Maintain communication with management and staff, fuel and service vehicles.
• Schedule porters and fill in as needed; handle assemblies and deliveries of receptacles.
• Keep records and reports up to date; enforce violations and trainings.
• Collect trash and recycling door-to-door within local apartments and transfer to onsite compactor.
• Lead teams effectively and hold members accountable.

What You’ll Do As A District Service Manager:

• Manage valet service operations at assigned locations
• This position may require a split shift schedule which includes hours in the morning/early afternoon and evening depending on needs and/or performance of your team. Time will be split between your working from home and in the field / community properties
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees
• Maintain open communication with management and employees
• Fuel and maintain vehicles
• Schedule valet porters and fill-in as necessary
• Assemble, deliver, label and maintain trash receptacles
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Deliver violations, conduct trainings and progressive discipline
• Collect trash bags and recycling door-to-door within a local apartment community and transfer to the trash compactor onsite
• Lead effective teams and hold others accountable

Requirements

What We Require Of A District Service Manager:

• A smart phone
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to submit a background check

• Flexibility to adjust work schedule and/or be on call during irregular business hours
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
• Customer service, and prior people management experience
