Fort Bend ISD in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a District Treasurer to oversee the fiscal affairs, maximize liquidity, and optimize returns on the district's investments, while ensuring compliance with policies and debt service requirements.
The role involves monitoring cash and investment balances daily, coordinating with banks and brokers, preparing cash flow statements, supporting audits, and supervising staff.
The District Treasurer will administer the fiscal affairs efficiently, expeditiously and to the ultimate benefit of each student enrolled through the maximization of the return of the Districts liquid assets. This position will be accountable for all cash and treasury aspects of the District, including investments and the debt service fund management.
