Job summary

Neptune Township School District is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and administer the district's transportation program. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective student transport while overseeing routes, contracts, budgeting, and state reporting.

The ideal candidate has NJ transportation knowledge, 3+ years in the field, and experience with routing software, PowerSchool, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in school transportation or related field.
• Knowledge of NJ transportation regulations and reporting.
• Experience with routing software and bid specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer a transportation program for daily instruction and activities.
• Prepare bid specifications and evaluate bid awards.
• Maintain transportation budgets and process vendor invoices.
• Prepare DRTRS and annual transportation lists for schools.
• Coordinate with Homeless Liaison on McKinney-Vento requirements.
