Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across the TX region. The role covers scheduling gaps, ensures safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices, and acts as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.

You will travel within the district, help maintain inventory, protect cold-chain products, and lead a collaborative, patient-focused team while adhering to CVS Health policies and applicable laws. 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and maintain patient safety.
• Assist with immunizations and counseling to support positive patient experiences.
• Manage pharmacy inventory with focus on cold chain protection.
