Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and patient care across multiple locations.

This role requires travel within a reasonable radius, regular attendance including nights and weekends, and the ability to stay current with required trainings and CME.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment by following workflows and protecting patient safety.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide holistic patient care by collaborating with the healthcare team and resolving insurance or medication issues.
