Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to support our pharmacy teams across the district, delivering safe dispensing, counseling and immunization services while upholding patient care standards. As a DSP, you will travel to CVS stores to fill pharmacist shifts, cover scheduling gaps under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, and oversee pharmacy operations when needed.

Active pharmacist license in the state, and an active NPI are required; you must be able to comply with DEA

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
Complete required training within designated timeframe
Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and safeguarding protocols to ensure patient safety
Assist in immunizations and support pharmacy team learning to immunize
Assist in inventory management with focus on cold chain products
Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging team dynamic
Support access to care and patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care where permissible
