Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts and help ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

The role requires travel within a reasonable radius, regular attendance on weekends, and the ability to immunize and deliver clinical care where permissible. This is a part-time position with about 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the store's state.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• Preferred 1–2 years of related work experience in pharmacy/retail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district as needed.
• Support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager's guidance.
• Assist with immunizations and clinical care where permissible.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety rules.
