Job summary

CVS Health is hiring District Support Pharmacists to cover shifts across the district, ensuring safe dispensing, accurate labeling, and patient counseling. You will travel to stores to support pharmacy teams and act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts, while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires active Florida pharmacist licensure, A NPI, and ability to travel within the district.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Contribute to patient safety by accurate prescription labeling and counseling.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and staff during shifts to ensure compliance and service quality.
• Immunize patients where permissible and support technicians in immunization practices.
• Assist in inventory management and protection of cold chain products.
