The position is part-time with a $6,000 annual stipend and prorated benefits. The coordinator will monitor absences, manage daily sub rosters, and dynamically assign substitutes using Red Rover, reporting to the Superintendent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Red Rover and scheduling platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with staff and substitutes.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and handle dynamic scheduling needs.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours (early mornings/evenings).

Responsibilities

• Monitor district-wide absence logs and substitute coverage needs.
• Coordinate and assign substitutes via the Red Rover platform.
• Perform scheduling outside standard hours to manage last-minute absences.
• Serve as primary contact for substitutes regarding schedules and locations.
• Communicate with principals and staff about coverage status and assignments.
• Maintain records on substitute attendance and staffing patterns.
• Complete other tasks related to substitute assignments as needed.
