Job summary

Young World Physical Education seeks an Anticipated Supervisor of STEM to lead district-wide science, technology, engineering and mathematics initiatives. The role reports to the Assistant Superintendent and supervises K-12 staff in STEM areas, ensuring alignment with state standards and curriculum goals.

The position emphasizes instructional leadership, program development, and coordination of training, materials, and compliance across multiple buildings within the Penns Grove-Carneys Point

Qualifications

• New Jersey Principal/Supervisor certification.
• Minimum five years teaching, administrative or supervision experience.
• Leadership in program development and curriculum integration.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Proficient withMicrosoft Office and Google tools; able to travel between buildings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate district-wide K-12 STEM curriculum.
• Oversee training for staff and manage Right to Know obligations.
• Lead scheduling of district-wide staff meetings and professional development.
• Evaluate and select instructional materials and programs.
• Coordinate budget planning for STEM subjects and instructional resources.
• Serve as Chemical Lab Hygiene Coordinator and district Right to Know Officer.
• Collaborate with principals and coordinators to align standards and instructional programs.
