We seek a dynamic, results-driven outside sales representative to represent two iconic brands – Dart and SOLO products.

What You’ll Do

As a manufacturer’s representative, you will generate sales by calling on an established network of distributors and prospecting for new business by calling on end-users (e.g., hospitals, universities, restaurants) in an assigned territory including Los Angeles, CA. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate professionally with co-workers to foster harmony and productivity.
  • Analyze customer inquiries and opportunities, negotiating solutions related to service, quality, pricing, and representation.
  • Identify customer needs, motives, and solutions by linking different aspects of the marketplace.
  • Secure and report market and competitive information relevant to selling Dart products.
  • Resolve customer inquiries systematically in areas of service, quality, and pricing.
  • Document account information in a CRM system and attend occasional trade shows, meetings, and events.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of outside sales experience in food service, paper distribution, or related fields, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Reside in the Los Angeles, CA area.
  • Strong relationship-building, growth-driving, and opportunity-pursuing skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is preferred.
