Job summary

Core & Main in the Eastern North Carolina district is seeking a results-driven sales leader responsible for executing the district's sales strategies. You will coordinate resources, drive profitable revenue growth, and optimize sales effectiveness in partnership with regional teams.

You will mentor a team of inside and outside sales staff, forecast targets, manage customer projects, and build strong relationships with key district customers while shaping staffing and development plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university; 10+ years industry sales experience.
• 5+ years experience with area customer base.
• Strong sales management background.

Responsibilities

• Manage a sales territory and develop direct reports including inside and outside sales and special products sales.
• Forecast and achieve budgeted sales targets for assigned sales team.
• Plan, forecast and report on sales and competitor pricing, activity and tactics; promote market and technology research.
• Coach, motivate and develop team; supervise account prospecting.
• Conduct ride-alongs and recruit talent to support objectives.
