Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. seeks a District Sales Manager to lead the Metro district's sales team, shape pricing, and drive revenue with major accounts.

You’ll oversee District Managers, set goals, hire and train staff, and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company initiatives. You will manage compensation structures, collaborate cross-functionally, and promote efficient reporting and fleet optimization.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Proven planning skills with ability to translate plans into actions.
• Solid business sense and market understanding.
• Experience leading sales and sales management for large accounts.
• Capable of meeting performance, productivity and efficiency standards.
• Previous sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all activities of Metro, Territory and Key Account Managers within the district.
• Manages hiring, training and termination of sales management and personnel.
• Sets and monitors performance goals and development plans.
• Collaborates to establish and track district performance and sales initiatives.
• Develops pricing strategies and ensures execution across the district.
• Leads district-wide revenue planning and results.
• Coordinates with Operations, IT, Marketing and other departments to align efforts.
