Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support and service.
• Basic knowledge of business systems and leveraging them for efficiencies.
• Prior management or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, practices and tools.
• Strong ability in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience developing and executing operational business and marketing plans.
• Familiarity with budgeting concepts.
• Agency experience or experience influencing agency owners preferred.
• Reside in the district; Denver, CO or nearby preferred.
• Insurance licensing: Property and Casualty, Life, and Health.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support agency business owners who operate as independent contractors.
• Coach and advise agency owners on profit and growth plans.
• Recruit agency owners to become captive agents.
• Influence performance results for independent contractors.
• Connect corporate strategy with agency practices and results.
• Guide agency owners on sales results and state sales plan execution.
• Help agency owners understand district profitability while maintaining control.
• Manage district programs and budgets.
• Assist agency owners in prioritizing sales activities and market opportunities.
• Provide business expertise to support successful agency operations.
• Source and select agency owners to fill openings.
• Build relationships with agency owners and staff.
• Spend ~70% of time in the field with customers, agents, and staff.
• Report to the Colorado State Director.
