Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead and develop Sales Consultants across the Fargo/Jamestown, ND and Moorhead, MN region. You will drive a high-performance culture and coach teams to achieve profitable case and gross profit growth.

In this role you will lead district meetings, direct customer engagement, and utilize Sysco CRM/Sysco 360 for planning, forecasting and daily activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years’ experience growing profitable sales in the foodservice industry.
• 5+ years’ foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance and development of Sales Consultants within the district.
• Lead weekly district meetings and coach on selling behaviors.
• Direct customer engagement and expand service options (technology enablers, value-added services, team selling).
• Use Sysco CRM and Sysco 360 for planning, forecasting and daily engagement.
• Execute territory planning and manage top customers to drive profitable growth.
• Support national campaigns and promotions.
• Train and coach new employees as requested.
