Job summary

Madison City Schools in Madison, AL, seeks a Safety and Security Supervisor to oversee security operations across all campuses and facilities. You will report to the Coordinator of Safety, Security, & Emergency Management and drive audits, emergency plans, drills, and staff coordination.

A minimum of three years in a school setting is preferred; security and emergency management experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years working in a school setting required.
• Experience in a security-related field and emergency management preferred.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of security measures throughout the district and compile audit reports.
• Assist with emergency operation plan completion and implementation.
• Assist with security and emergency management drills and tabletop exercises.
• Assist with annual mandatory safety training completion and implementation.
• Assess overall security and emergency management posture of district buildings and facilities.
