Job summary

Core Linen Services is seeking a District Route Manager to lead our Manteca, California route operations and service delivery. You will coach drivers, oversee schedules, protect safety standards, and maintain strong client relationships across our existing customer base.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes reliability, service levels, and profitability, with a compensation range of $75,000–$95,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in route operations, transportation, logistics, or customer service.
• Prev. leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coach and hold employees accountable while building a positive team.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in linen rental, healthcare service, or related route-based industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support route drivers to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Oversee daily route operations, schedules, coverage, and delivery performance.
• Conduct regular ride-alongs and field observations with drivers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Serve as a key point of contact for customer service needs, concerns, and escalations.
• Partner with existing customers to evaluate service levels and pricing.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, route efficiency, and profitability.
• Monitor route performance, labor utilization, delivery accuracy, and service metrics.
• Promote and enforce safety, DOT requirements, and vehicle inspection standards.
• Assist with recruiting, training, coaching, and development of route team members.
• Maintain accurate route, customer, vehicle, and employee documentation.
