Job summary

Mission Linen Supply in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of Drivers (RSSRs) and drive unsurpassed customer satisfaction while pushing the depot and district to achieve operational goals. The role requires transportation management experience and a strong leadership presence.

The Area Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, maximizing account retention, and guiding the team to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assigned to a specific market area with six to twelve RSSRs as direct reports.
• Manages daily RSSR activities: route check-in, coverage, and restructuring; assists in sales strategy and policy formulation.
• Works toward plant goals such as forecasted volume and account retention.
• Administers recruitment and training for RSSRs, including orientation and ongoing education on retention, planning, and sales techniques.
• Pursues market potential, follows up, and closes sales with key customers with the GM, Sales Reps, and RSSRs.
• Must pass physical agility test and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
