Job summary

Cracker Barrel is seeking a Retail District Manager to drive store performance across multiple locations. You will lead a team of Retail Managers and hourly staff, set goals using sales data, and partner with restaurant leaders to uphold hospitality and brand standards.

You will analyze inventory, guest traffic, and conversion to maximize profitability while visiting stores regularly to coach teams and maintain operations excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience
• At least 2 years of Cracker Barrel Retail Management experience
• Willing to travel within your assigned district
• Able to work holidays and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Retail Managers and hourly retail employees across your district
• Use business metrics and sales trends to set clear goals and drive measurable improvement in each store
• Partner with your Restaurant District Manager counterpart to ensure alignment on guest experience, cleanliness, and brand standards
• Analyze inventory performance, guest traffic, and sales conversion to maximize profitability
• Regularly visit each store in your district to assess performance, ensure operational excellence, and support your team firsthand
• Maintain a healthy profit/loss ratio in every gift shop by managing expenses and identifying opportunities for growth
