• Proficient financial analysis skills to interpret operating statements, manage budgets, and control inventory.

• Oversee/Ensure a culture that fosters Dollar General’s brand.
• Ensure consistent administration of human resources policies & practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through the development of fun and friendly stores.
• Achieve annual sales growth that meets or exceeds Company targets through strong operations and efficient flow processes.
• Maintain superior visual merchandising, product management, and signing/pricing execution in each store.
• Plan and execute Company objectives effectively.
• Maximize performance and productivity through store managers’ scheduling.
• Develop Store Manager through proactive recruitment, selection and training of team members.
• Protect Company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within operational areas (distribution flow, merchandising displays, store growth, etc.).
• Communicate Company priorities to store teams clearly and consistently.
• Provide training and development to create strong visual merchandising and product placements.
• Use technology to train teams and keep them informed of operational tasks.
• Develop Store Managers to ensure consistent execution of DG expectations and a clean, organized store environment.
• Implement recognition programs that foster a fun and rewarding environment for staff.
