Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district, cover pharmacist shifts, and support store operations. This role emphasizes safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and maintaining high standards of care across multiple locations.

You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader to ensure pharmacy performance, patient safety, and efficient staffing. A valid state pharmacist license and NPIs are required, with travel as a core duty.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district
• Support the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader in oversight of stores
• Assist with safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices
• Act as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts
• Manage pharmacy operations and inventory with focus on patient safety and quality
• Provide immunizations and support pharmacy staff in learning vaccination procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and CVS policies
