Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams in stores across the district. You will supervise dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, NPI, and the ability to travel. Anticipated weekly hours are 15 with a focus on patient care and teamwork in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure prescription accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist and support patients and colleagues.
• Communication Skills: interact effectively with patients and colleagues; active listening.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate pills, days supply and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: address patient or colleague issues and determine best action.
• Physical Demands: sustained mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, manual tasks.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
