Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will help with safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, respond to patients
• Communication Skills: verbal and written, active listening
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescription quantities and days supply
• Problem Resolution: handle difficult patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, reach, finger dexterity, visual acuity
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
