Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across the district. You will cover pharmacist shifts, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure safe dispensing and high-quality patient care.

You will travel within a reasonable radius, assist with immunizations and collaborative care, and help maintain inventory while protecting cold chain integrity. Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Travel within district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure safe prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
