Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across stores within your district and assist with scheduling gaps under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader guidance.

You will cover shifts, ensure safe dispensing, immunization support, and drive patient care collaboration while upholding CVS policies and federal/state regulations. Regular travel within the district, flexible scheduling, and a patient‑focused approach are key to success.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Oversee safe dispensing and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Support immunizations and clinical care where permissible.
• Coach pharmacy technicians and manage inventory with attention to cold chain.
