Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacy scheduling across stores, ensuring safe dispensing and patient care. The role requires travel within a reasonable radius and serving as the Pharmacy Manager's trusted proxy during shifts.

You will support immunizations, coaching pharmacy technicians, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering compassionate care to patients.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts without overlap.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Proactively offering and delivering immunizations and coaching technicians to immunize.
