Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support store-level pharmacy operations across the district. You will help manage patient care through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while traveling to fill shifts as scheduled and acting as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager when needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with pharmacy workflows, supporting inventory management, and providing clinical care where permissible.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by ensuring safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Assist in managing inventory and ensuring compliance with pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Provide clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permissible; mentor technicians.
• Maintain patient privacy and secure handling of prescriptions and records.
